One of our young people was recently chosen by their school to participate in peer mentoring training which is a scheme for year 6 children to support fellow pupils. One of their responsibilities would be that if they saw another child on their own or appearing upset they can befriend them or get adult help.
The certificate of achievement awarded by the school bears the words, ‘For your outstanding contribution and dedication to the Peer Mentoring Training Scheme’. Well done from all of us at Young People at Heart!
