Welcome to our new Registered Manager, Doug Pearce

We are delighted to announce that Doug Pearce, our new Registered Manager, started with Young People at Heart today.

Doug joins us from a Therapeutic Fostering organisation where he was also the Registered Manager.

Gary Cox, Founder of Young People at Heart, said the appointment was a vitally important one because the person needed to have both the experience of the role and understand the ethos and culture of Young People at Heart. He said he’d met a number of good candidates and was delighted that Doug had accepted the challenge.

Doug said that when he saw the vacancy, he was immediately drawn to the organisation, feeling that he would like to make a contribution to outcomes for young people in a not-for-profit environment.
