The Covid-19 pandemic has created a lot of uncertainty. However, at Young People at Heart we still need more foster carers.
We continue to recruit new and experienced foster carers. Our team are responding to enquiries via mobile phone, email or video call. We are equipped to conduct initial visits and assessments by video. In April, we are holding our first video conference Skills to Foster training course for new foster carers.
We recruit foster carers from all backgrounds. All you need is to be over 21, have a spare bedroom, and the ability to provide a young person with a supportive, loving and nurturing environment.
We pay our foster carers a competitively weekly fee and are renowned for the support we provide our foster carers. We are a not-for-profit, family run organisation, committed to making a difference to the lives of young people in care.
