In preparation for National Storytelling Week beginning tomorrow we are celebrating one of our young people and their emerging creative talents. We thought we would share a poem, written by one of our young people who received a ‘Talent for Writing’ certificate for this piece. This is a remarkable achievement for a young person who can sometimes struggle academically but has been inspired by her love of horse riding and watching harness racing. As well as receiving a certificate the poem has also been selected for publication in a Young Writers’ anthology. Well Done!
