Following the succesful opening of Young People at Heart in Herefordshire in September, and in keeping with Young People at Heart’s tradition of inviting young people, foster carers, potential foster carers, staff and their families to the Pantomime, we took 75 people to the see Sleeping Beauty at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford yesterday.
Foster carers and young people travelled from Hereford, Ludlow, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Swindon to attend the performance which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Dave Bailey, Manager of the region, said he was delighted that so many people had been able to attend and he was particiularly pleased that one of the siblings of a young person in care with us had been able to come so they could enjoy the Pantomime together. Dave said the Pantomime had been quickly established as a tradition in the Essex office of Young People at Heart and he was delighted to be able continued that tradition in Herefordshire.
