It’s been a very busy summer for our foster carers and young people. Inbetween many of them having some wonderful holidays locally and abroad, we held a number of activities up and down the country.
Our Doncaster office held a picnic with our foster families in the grounds of the lovely Normanby Hall in North Lincolnshire. Our foster carers and young people really enjoyed the water fountain play area and the petting farm. We’ve provided MAX cards for all our foster carer households so entry into the Country Estate was free!
In Essex, three separate events were held during the holidays. The first was at King George’s Park in Brentwood where the zip wire was a highlight. The second event was at Castle Park in Colchester with their fantastic play areas. Our third event was a beach day at Deal in Kent.
The Hereford team also held three foster family picnics. They were at King George V Playing Field in Hereford, Lydiard Park in Swindon and Churchdown Skate Park in Gloucester.
Thank you to everyone who made the summer events so enjoyable for our young people.
