This year our Essex team planned a slightly different Halloween Party, a trip to Call of the Wild Zoo! Situated in 9 acres of land the zoo has a variety of wildlife to see including ring tailed lemurs, meerkats, farmyard friends’, otters, and the Tropical House full of butterflies, our foster families were kept very busy! Call of the Wilds mission is to inspire future generations to protect and conserve the planet by providing information through displays and demonstrations. Our young people were able to see some extraordinary species and ecosystems that we must work together to create an awareness and appreciation to facilitate support for conservation. It was both a fun and educational day out!
