October Half Term was jam packed of Halloween Parties up and down the country. Starting in Essex there was our Essex Halloween Drop n Shop where we enjoyed lots of spooky fun! We decorated pumpkins, did some painting, took part in a Halloween quiz, decorated biscuits, played musical statues and even turned each other into mummies by wrapping each other up in toilet roll!
Tracy and Sarah were on hand to paint some faces and everyone’s costumes were amazing! All our young people made their own lunch and did so well in the activities. We loved having them, and we hope our carers were able to enjoy a few hours to themselves too!
Next was our Halloween Party in Doncaster which involved pumpkin decorating, face painting and lots of spooky group games and finally a mummy wrapping competition!
At the end of the week, it was the final Halloween party in Hereford, which was a huge success, we had biscuit decorating, a craft corner with wand making, face painting, Halloween Bingo, a messy pumpkin, and we had great fun wrapping 3 of our foster carers up in toilet roll for the mummy challenge.
It was lovely to see everyone again, even if was hard to recognise some people in their wonderful Halloween costumes!
